Checklist for pickup
- Original passport or national ID
- Original driving licence
- Certified translation or International Driving Permit, if your licence isn't in the Latin alphabet
- Credit or debit card in the main driver's name, with enough available funds for the deposit
- Your booking confirmation on WhatsApp
Driving licence
Your licence must be valid and cover the car category you book. Tourists can drive in Türkiye with a valid foreign licence for a limited period after arrival.
Licences not in the Latin alphabet, such as Arabic-only licences, need one of these:
- a translation of your licence certified by your consulate or a notary, or
- an International Driving Permit (IDP), together with your original licence.
Payment card
- Credit and debit cards are accepted. Cash isn't accepted.
- The card should be in the main driver's name.
- It needs enough available funds for the security deposit.
Age and driving experience
The minimum age and the years you must have held your licence depend on the car category. Premium cars and SUVs usually need older, more experienced drivers. Your booking specialist confirms the rules for your car before you book.
Additional drivers
You can add drivers to your booking. Each additional driver must meet the same age and licence requirements, bring their own documents and be registered on the rental agreement. Additional drivers may cost extra, and you'll see the price before you confirm.
Security deposit
The rental company holds a security deposit on your card at pickup, separate from the rental price. Your quote shows the amount before you confirm. Cash deposits aren't accepted at the moment.
Motorway and bridge tolls (HGS) are deducted from the deposit. If they exceed it, the remaining amount is charged to the card you paid with. The deposit is released after you return the car, and the time it takes to reach your account depends on your bank.
